Dental Office Manager in Florida

Currently looking for a dynamic DENTAL OFFICE MANAGER with a passion for excellence. You will be working in a collaborative environment, have ongoing managment training, including marketing, HR, and claims, to enable you to run a successful practice.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Our dental office managers are responsible for the management of the entire office’s operations. Managers are the primary liaison between staff and corporate operations. They are responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching the SEDA Dental staff to perform at their highest level. Office managers strive to maintain customer service oriented and productive working environment, and responsible for all aspects of our dental practice management system and work to maximize their capabilities and potential of the entire dental team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of RECENT Dental Management experience REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Standards REQUIRED
  • Direct line Management experience, including project, people, customer, financial management preferred
  • Hands-on experience with computerized dental software REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in finance, human resource management, and principles of business PREFERRED

Education Requirements:

Financial Coordinator in Florida

Are you looking for a financially stable and caring work environment? If so, SEDA Dental is currently seeking EXPERIENCED Dental Financial Coordinator to join our team!

At SEDA Dental, Dental Insurance Specialists play a very important role in the operations of our dental practices by maintaining accurate records and protecting patient health information. Responsibilities include collecting, maintaining, and analyzing the data our dentists and dental assistants use to treat patients.

The purpose of this position, under the direction of the doctor, is to ensure excellence in all non-clinical support services so that the doctor is able to focus on patient care.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Total accountability for financial management of patient care
  • Prepare a daily financial action plan by reviewing the patients for the next day and determining their financial needs and status. Check patient chart records for any incomplete treatment.
  • Research insurance eligibility, benefits, and limitations, and verify chart has complete insurance information
  • Prepare estimates on treatment diagnosed prior to discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements. Prepare and submit pre-authorizations for patient treatment only when necessary.
  • Present the treatment plan using models, diagrams, and provided related literature. Go over treatment to date with the patient and assess any incomplete treatment.
  • Make financial arrangements on all patients according to the Financial Policy of the office. Ensure that all patients have a full understanding of the Financial Policy and have made a choice as to how payment will be made. Document the payment option selected by the patient. Educate the patient to their responsibility regarding insurance.
  • Process insurance claims daily and mail or submit electronically within 24 hours
  • Assist in the process of patient problem solving with schedule coordinator

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of RECENT Dental Insurance Specialist experience REQUIRED
  • 1 year of financial coordinator experience REQUIRED

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma REQUIRED
  • Associate Degree in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding REQUIRED

Dental Assistant in Florida

At SEDA Dental, dental assistants play a very important role in the operations of our dental practices, supporting the dentists while they perform the clinical procedures. Dental assistants prepare patients for the dentist’s examination. In addition, they perform chairside duties, operate x-ray machines, and fabricate temporaries. They may also sterilize instruments, develop x-rays, chart, and mix compounds for cleaning or filling teeth, among other clinical duties.

SEDA Dental assistants must be focused on providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction and are continually learning new skills through various training and development opportunities available.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • To assist in the performance of quality, caring clinical dentistry
  • To become proficient at assigned clinical procedures
  • To prepare patients, prepare the operatory and equipment and assist the doctor during examinations and treatment
  • To maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients
  • Ensure to inform schedule coordinator the type of treatment planned for the next appointment and the amount of chair time, doctor time, and assistant time needed
  • To maintain equipment and inventory supervised; adhering to all required OSHA and health regulations

Registered Dental Hygienist in Florida

SEDA Dental practice is looking for full or part-time dental hygienists. Candidate must be a team player and willing to help in all areas of the practice. A great personality is a must … and passion and desire for the patient's oral health and education. Great work environment and team.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Greet and seat patients. Take X-rays, if necessary.
  • Evaluate gingival health and health of all oral tissue
  • Perform an oral cancer exam. Take blood pressure.
  • Administer nitrous oxide and oxygen. Classify patient’s periodontal condition.
  • Scale, polish, and apply fluoride. Periodontal soft tissue curettage. Root planing. Perio probe and chart.
  • Polish and contour restorations. Take impressions for diagnostic and opposing models.
  • Application of non-aerosol and non-caustic topical agents and much more

Patient Education:

  • Explain the disease process and the role of bacteria caries in periodontal health
  • Provide appropriate educational literature
  • Provide instruction on home care
  • Recommend intra-oral aids
  • Evaluate hygiene booklets for patient distribution
  • Explain prevention to patients and parents of small children

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 or more years of experience relevant to this position
  • Associates REQUIRED

Scheduling Coordinator in Florida

At SEDA Dental, scheduling specialists play a very important role in the operations of our dental practices by patient management for effective and productive scheduling, and growth of the business. Responsibilities will also include the scheduling of appointments to meet SEDA DENTAL patient and production goals.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Person primarily responsible for answering the telephone
  • Pull and file patient chart records for each day’s schedule in advance
  • Greet and welcome patients
  • Check in patients. Notify treatment area of patients’ arrival.
  • Register new patients and provide necessary forms (welcome letter, patient information, and office policy)
  • Determine the status of and schedule the next recare visit for each hygiene patient seen during the day
  • Update patient records: name change, address, telephone, insurance, and employment changes

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 or more years of recent scheduling coordinator experience REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma REQUIRED
